Biomutant ist eine große Marke von THQ Nordic und wurde daher schon einige Male verschoben. In einem Gespräch mit GamesIndustry äußert sich aber jetzt Klemens Kreuzer, CEO von THQ Nordic, zum Release des Open-World Rollenspiels und erklärt, dass man sich dem Release immer weiter nähert. Für Kreuzer und das Team ist Biomutant eine Marke mit sehr großer Bedeutung.
In der Publikation wird jedoch auch davon gesprochen, dass der Titel noch dieses Quartal erscheinen soll. Das könnte bedeuten, dass wir noch vor dem 01. April 2o21 Hand ans Spiel legen können. Eine offizielle Bekanntgabe gibt es noch nicht, aber angesichts dieser Aussagen, können wir damit rechnen, dass man bald offiziell mehr zum Spiel hören wird.
Biomutant wurde für Ps4, Xbox One und PC angekündigt. Man kann das Spiel natürlich auch auf PS5 und Xbox Series X|S spielen. Ob es dafür aber ein NextGen Update geben wird, ist bislang noch unklar.
